Hello MaryRose. It is quite possible that your Victoire is not the same as my Victoire...

What bugs me is that you say that she LATER married Noe Boismier.
She married Noe Boismier in 1864. Noel Boemier died 28 FEB 1915 (LDS). Victoire died in 1917.
Assuming she married Alexandre Monforton BEFORE she married Noe means that your greath-grand-father
would be born between 1855 and 1864. Where and when was he born?
Is this reasonable? Does your gr-grand-father's death certificate mention his birth date, birth place
or age on death day? When did Victoire marry Alexandre Monforton? When did Alexandre Monforton die?
The marriage entry for Noe and Victoire in my database does not mention that she is a widow.

I believe that to answer those questions will require a visit to the public library or genealogy center where
you could get the information in the marriages index and deaths index for Windsor Co. Essex Ontario.
