======================

David Remy, aged about 60 years, was found dead in bed at his home in Richland Township by his brother Louis on Thursday of last week. There was no one at the home at the time but himself, the family being in Columbus, to which place they soon intended to move. They last seen him alive was on Tuesday and he had evidently gone to bed that evening and died from heart failure that night, as the indications were that he had been dead sometime when found. Funeral services were held Friday, burial in the Randerson Cemetery.

Lifeless Body Of Richland Township Man Was Found By His Brother
----------------
David Remy, aged about sixty years one of the best known residents of Richland township, was found dead in bed at his home south of Allenville last Thursday morning.
The circumstances surrounding Mr. Remy's death were unusually distressing. He was alone at the time of his death, Mrs. Remy being in Columbus, where they expected to move for residence in about two weeks and her business there at the time was looking for a house.
The last time Mr. Remy was seen alive was Tuesday afternoon. He had been working for some neighbors that day, and had told them that he was not feeling well and probably would not be at work the next day. When he did not put in an appearance nothing was thought of it.
Wednesday he was not seen, and Thursday morning when he failed to make an appearance his brother, Lewis Remy went to the home and forced an entrance. He found the lifeless body of his brother in an upstairs room.
Mr. Remy had complained some of a bad heart, but had never thought seriously about the trouble. Dr. Cox, who was called to make an examination, is of the opinion that Mr. Remy expired soon after retiring Tuesday night from an attack of the heart.
Mrs. Remy was notified immediately and returned home Thursday evening. The funeral was held Friday, following by interment in the cemetery at Randerson Church.
Besides his widow Mr. Remy is survived by several children. He was a well known citizen and his death is regretted by a large number of acquaintances. He was a son of Hiram Remy, one of the early settlers of Richland.
