Georg Rempe, 30 yrs old and Maria Eva Horster are listed in the Anreppen-Leste parish register of Boke, Westphalia, as the parents of Anna Maria Rempe(n)born January 19, 1822. Doubt if he could have been the George you are searching for. Have you tried reading an 1890 federal Census, to see if you can locate the family in Chicago? You might discover where the family came from.
