I am one of a group working on an official history of the Wisconsin 23rd Regiment . One of our men is Marcus Remington who enlisted 14 Aug 1862 at Vienna, Dane Co., WI.
He d. 16 Feb 1863 at Memphis TN & is buried in the National Cemetery there.
This is all the information we have. If you can help us fill in any of =
our blanks we would be grateful.
The format we are using is as follows: (We have his service record)

place(s) of residence.
