Clarification for the names: John Henry Rembold & Christina Catharina Chrisinger

John Henry is actually; Johann Heinrich Rembold b: Mar 12, 1814 in Lauffen am Neckar, Württemberg, Germany.

Christina Catharina's real surname is Griesinger. She was b: Jan 2, 1816 in Lauffen am Neckar, Germany. Johann and Christina settled in Greenville Twp, Somerset Co, PA. They settled next two brothers of Christina; Gottfried Heinrich & Johann Jacob Griesinger. Their names are mispelled in the 1840 Census, consequently their surnames are found with different spellings. Gottfried and Johann Jacob later moved to Fulton Co, OH where another brother; Sigmund (Simon) Heinrich settled, too!! All married gals of the local locality. Jacob: Christena Arnold, Gottfried; Esther Shultz, Simon; Eve Shultz.

The Rembold ancestral line remains stagnet, not because I haven't tried, but......! The Griesinger line has quite a few ancestors. Gottfried Heinrich (Henry) was my g-grandfather.

Be glad to provide guidance to anyone needs it and that will share their info. Would like to see some postings to this sight!!
