I am looking for relatives of my great-grandmother Maria Reitmeier who was born in 1866 and emigrated to New York in 1880s and married Victor Balassi. Her family was from Ronsperg in Bohemia, now called Probezovice and part of Czech Republic. Her sister Frances lived with her in Brooklyn and she had brothers, at least one of whom went west to Spokane, I think. They were Joseph (b. 1854); Franz (b. 1856, d. 1940); Johann (b. 1858, m. Elisabeth Kraus ?, children: Ronald and William); Karl (b. 1860; Mathias (b. 1863); and Aloisius (b. 1864, m. Marie Unger, children: Josephine, Aloisa, Liesl, Mathilde). Very interested in hearing from distant cousins and learning of family's experiences
