Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
In looking at the 1920 Census Listings in this message, I believe that my great grandfather is Christian E. Reiswig. His wife, was my great-grandmother, Mary (Blehm) Reiswig. They had three children, Elmer, James Paul and Opal (my grandmother). The information that I have states that Christian was born on May 24, 1885 and Mary was born on April 11, 1887. It comes from an Ehrlich geneology book put together in 1972. Mary's ancestor's were German and migrated to Russia and lived in a village off of the Volga River.
My mother, Karen, passed away last October from complications related to confirmed Parkinson's and the beginning signs of Alzheimer's disease. She was only 54 years old. I have read some of the information about the family link and would like to know more. She had told me that her grandmother, Mary, had Alzheimer's as well as her Uncle Jimmy (James Paul). It's pretty frightening.
It appears that you are the most knowlegable person on this topic... help please.
