My husband decends from a Gotfried REISCH of Columbiana County,Unity Township, OH. There are many spellings of this name - RISH, REASH,REESH,RAUSH. Gotfried's will is signed Reisch, but his tomb stone in the old Koch Church cemetery has his name as REASH. The Church records list him as Raush. His wife and I am begining to believe that this is his second wife was Catharin Helriegel,married 1831,however the children named in the will were adults. Gotfried was born abt 1780,place unknown, but his was in VA at sometime.
Do you know the names of the children of your Conrad Reish?
We have an infant Edward Reesh buried next to a Della Seidner in the Springfield Cemetery.
