We are related. My father did extensive research and documentation of Reiniers. He was never able to establish the individual(s) who originally arrived from France. He seemed very certain thay arrived with Lafayette during the
Revolution. I have a book he published in 1982 and my daughter is custodian of the research materials. His focus was around Thomas Jefferson Reinier, Feb 20, 1848 to Feb 24, 1922, Wapello County, Iowa. He researched the Ohio
branch of Reiniers descendent from Hezekiah quite extensively. I have information for instance re: James Reinier II, Feb. 1, 1792, in VA. Married Charity ?? (1st) in Fayette Co. PA., married Elizabeth Wilkins (2nd)unk. location. Died
Aug. 23, 1880 in Hamilton, OH.
Hezekiah Reinier I married Lilian Gray, born 1760, NJ died Oct. 15 1840. Hamilton Cty, OH.
Hezekiah was the son of James Reinier I. Birth date uncertain. As listed: "ca 1735? 1740/60" Died "1807 PA Tombstone Hopwood Cemetery" Much much more info available.
