Marion A. Reinhart
Marion A. Reinhart, 94, of Bowdoinham, Maine, passed away on May 12, 2009 while at home. Born on November 17, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Oscar W. Ackerman and Reba (Pearson) Ackerman. Marion, talented in music from an early age, attended the Bethlehem Conservatory of Music, West Chester State Teachers College and Penn State University, where she graduated with a b.s. in music education. Marion was a choir director and organist in several churches for more than 30 years. She also taught music education at the elementary level for more than 20 years and published an anthem, Alle Alleluia. Marion played field hockey in high school and college, was the accompanist for the Welsh Day Choir in Bangor and enjoyed golfing, interior decoration and travel. Survivors: She is survived by her sister, Erma Haggard; two sons, Kurt and Steven; two grandsons, Todd Robert and Joseph Jay; two great-granddaughters, Anya Grace and Eva Marie. Services: Interment, 11 a.m. Aug. 15, 2009, Flicksville Cemetery, Bangor, Pa.
