Deceased Name: Sister Catherine Reinhart
Sister Catherine Reinhart, 93, a Missionary Sister of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Sacred Heart Villa died Wednesday July 1, 2009 in Sacred Heart Villa. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late George and Catherine (Hart) Reinhart. She made her First Profession of Vows on August 26, 1936. Sister taught in St. Peters Coplay, until her assignment to Papua New Guinea, where she taught in the international grade school. Upon her return to the States, she served in a variety of positions - secretary, receptionist, school librarian, office manager - before her retirement to St. Michael Convent in 1993.
Survivors: She is survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Services: The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Scared Heart Villa. Burial will be in the convent cemetery.
Contributions: Can be made to the retirement fund of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, 51 Seminary Avenue, Reading, Pa 19605 Gallman-Sonoski Funeral Home, Inc., Reading has charge of the arrangements.
