Deceased Name: J. Barrie "Buck" Reinhart
J. Barrie "Buck" Reinhart, age 68, of Kirkwood, PA passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2009.
He was the son of the late Naaman K. and Alta McFann Reinhart. Buck was married to Janet Smith Reinhart for 45 years. He is survived by two daughters, Babette Reese of Kirkwood and Wendy married to Richard L. Miller of Kirkwood; a very special niece, Mary Jane wife of Mike McGlothlin of Quarryville; four grandchildren; two great granddaughters; and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of two more great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Kenneth N. "Sam" Reinhart of Willow Street and numerous nieces and nephews.
Buck was a self- employed truck driver for almost 50 years and enjoyed every trip, most recently when his grandson, Barrie Scott, traveled with him. It was his true calling. Among his other jobs he worked in his early years were Quarryville Concrete, hauled canned milk to the Christiana Creamery, grew mushrooms, and was a broker for Vlasic Pickle. He will be sadly missed from coast to coast.
Funeral services will be held from Colerain Baptist Church, 1923 Noble Road, Kirkwood on Wednesday at 2:00 PM. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 PM and again on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Those who desire may make contributions in Buck's memory to Colerain Baptist Church - Building Fund, 1923 Noble Road, Kirkwood, PA 17536. Reynolds Funeral Home, Quarryville, PA serving the family.
