Does anyone have any information about a Reimer, or Rimerd family from Columbia Co, PA? I am looking for the family of Harriet Rimerd? 1853-1929, married to Harvey Giger 1857-1930. Her name is spelled as Reimard on her death certificate, but her husband, the informant for the document, apparently did not know much about her family, or where she came from! Most of the entries are "Don't know". Marriage announcements in the local papers list her name as Rimerd, and living in Bloomsburg, but I have not found anything to prove that spelling either.
