My gggrandfather was John Reiman, who arrived from Germany in 1854. In the 1860 Kenosha WI Census, I found John and his wife Lucey with their infant son Bernard. Living next in the next household was Bernard (age 60) and Lena Reiman (age 61), along with some other unknown people. John named his daughter Lena. John's son Theodore named his daughter Helen Mary (who had the family nicknames of both Lena and Mary). Helen was my grandmother.
Seems to be too much of a coincidence not to be connected. Do you have any information to share? I may also have more information in a couple of months after I visit a cousin who has done some research of his own.
