I have been studying this guy quite a bit. Quite a library of tidbits about him in Books.google.com Founded a ton of Churches in Michigan, also served in Illinois and was the president of a small school in Mississippi prior to the Civil war. He married Heloise DeMailly there it would be good to gather more of her story -- She was a schoolteacher who later went on to found a french school in Ireland. Somebody published a book about it a few years ago.

His eldest Son Charles Jr. Is buried in Arlington.. Died during the civil war.. James moved to CA (He is my Great Great grandfather) The younger kids (From Caroline) with moved to New York, and served as teachers and eventually wound up on Wall Street. I believe he also had a child with Heloise.

Charles himself died visiting hospitals during the Civil war. I don't have any burial information.

I have a hypothesis that several of his children are named after clergy He worked with "Lyster" and "Whitehouse" where both names of Episcopal clergy that Charles was likely in contact with..

I would be thrilled to share with anybody else who has an interest.
