I was the first born in January 10, 1951(Oakville, Ont.) to:
Mother: Jean Cowan, born February 23, 1923 (Toronto)
Father: Daniel Kelly Reid born December 30, 1919 (Toronto)
I have a brother, Bruce Daniel Reid, born January 21, 1954; and a sister, Barbara Jean Reid, born June 14, 1951 (Ottawa).
Our parents were first born generation Canadians. My brother is the only living Male on my father's side. Neither of his other brothers produced a male to carry on the Reid family name. My brother has one son who is unmarried as of this posting.
