William Napoleon Reid's death certificate named his place of birth as Hancock County GA. He had several children and eventually moved to Treutlen County, where he died. He had sons named Carlos, Paul, and Thomas among others. He also had several daughters a couple of whom died very early on in Treutlen County. If you're familiar with any of these folks, please shoot me an email.
His son Carlos of Treutlen County is my grandfather. His son Arlie Carlos "AC" is my dad. My brother and I lost all of our family in a very short time and have run into a wall with William. The 1880 Census placed a William in a Trevvick or Trewick household as "Laborers" aged 10 and 14 which is about the right age. It's possible Mr. Trewick was their stepdad, or they could have been orphans, but that's a guess.
