Tracy,

Thanks for the response! Henrich is also my great, great, great, great, great grandfather. Henry's oldest son, John, is where my family branches off from your line. Most of my grandfathers from John through the next three generations are buried in a cemetary outside of Matthews, IN. John was a Baptist pastor, and moved to start the church in eastern IN.

I never knew Henry's fathers name. The only historical reference I had seen referenced Henry's "parents" moving to Muskingum County Ohio. There is also a published story where John, Daniel and Jacob left the family in Ohio and set off for Fort Wayne, IN to purchase land. On the way the group was attacked by Indians (likely Miami or Delaware) and separated. The story said John survived, but the survival of his brothers was unknown. Evidently, Jacob survived too. Lucky you, eh? lol

I'd like to talk more about what you might know about Henrich and Henry. I noticed your email is hidden here. You can contact me at bcsjunk at hotmail dot com.
