My father was Burl Magee Reichart (b. 1924 in Oil City, Venago Co. Pa.). His father was Burl Walker Reichart (b. 1901 in Perryville, Clarion Co. Pa.). My Grandfather was illegitimate. His mother was Lydia Catherine Reichart (b.1872 Clarion Co. Pa.). Her father was Hugh Callen Reichart (b.1828 in Callensburg, Clarion Co. Pa.) He laid out the town of Perryville. His father was Michael Reichart (b. ?1804 near Kittanning, Armstrong Co. Pa.). Michael Reichart was married to Mary Polly Callen (b.1806 near Kittanning, Armstrong Co. Pa.). Her father was Hugh Callen (b.1773 in Westmoreland Co. Pa.). He laid out the town of Callensburg, Pa. I have considerable info on my ancestors from Perryville. A good book to read is "Perry Township-Clarion County Pennsylvania-Pioneer History, Settlers, and Their Decendants" by Sally Jordan Reed. Contact the Clarion County Historical Society for a copy.
