Reichardt / Rehart connection?
Posted by: Janet English Date: April 25, 2001 at 15:11:55

I am looking for a connection between my ggrandfather Joseph Rehart born 1814-1817 in Alsace-Lorraine, France and the Reichardt spelling our name, Rehart, is said to have come from. I don't know his parents names. He married two wives. The first was Agatha Gossman born February 5, 1814 in Germany, daughter of Andrew Gossman and Anne Heiser. They were married about 1836. His second wife was Patty Elizabeth Rei born about 1828, daughter of Joseph Rei and Mary, unknown last name. They were married on January 11, 1859. Between these two wives he had fifteen children. I have their names and some of the decendants. I would like to fill in the tree to current generations as well as connect the line to the Reichardt spelling. Any information is welcome. Anyone with information on this line can contact me at my email: janetlenglish@aol.com Thank You. Janet
