My previous answer apparently did not post so here goes again...

I am descended from William Reich b.1815 d. 1901 in Frederick, MD. He married Lucinda Rachael Brown. I was not aware that his first name was Wesley. They are my great great grandparents.

Their children were:
William born 1853
Lucy (deceased)
Lucy Brown 1855
Philip 1857
Ellen 1859 (not shown in the 1880 census, hope to find out why)
Benjamin Franklin 1861

Lucy Brown Reich married Horatio Gates Smith (they are my great grandparents.) My grandmother was Eleanor Smith--although they did have a Lucy who did not survive. My mother and I are both named Lucy.

My mother knew her great uncle Ben well and visited him in Frederick as a young woman. He was an attorney admitted to the bar December 4, 1882.(from History of Frederick Maryland--Thomas Williams.) I'm pretty sure he died in 1942.

I haven't figured out yet when William died. But, I know that he is buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick. Most of the family of John Reich 1765-1835 is there.

I talked to my mother today. She has a lot of information, but is ill at present and will dig it up when she feels better. There may be something there that unlocks it all.

I am going to the cemetery today to take photos and write down information. We just moved to Maryland and I am excited to discover all these things!

Hope you are still working on this and that it helps!
