JESSIE CORNELIUS TANNEHILL was born 30 Dec 1797 in Kentucky, and died 17 Mar 1863 in Travis County, TX; son of ANDREW P. TANNEHILL and ____ JONES, daughter of STEPHEN AND MARTHA JONES. He married LAURA "JANE" RICHARDSON. She was born 20 Jun 1803 in KY, and died 17 Jan 1855 in Travis County, TX.
Early settlers of Travis County, Texas--Jessie received land as a colonist from the Mexican government. He sold it on 04 Apr 1840. He was a justice of the peace in Oct 1845.
