I'm look for Mary Regan (nee Morris) who is the sister of my great grandmother Rose. Mary Morris was born in or near Keady, Co Armagh, Northern Ireland on 24 Mar 1869. Mary lived in Chicago and had a holiday home in Palm Springs. One of her husbands had the last name of Regan/Reagan. She has children and grandchildren with the last of of Regan/Reagan.
My grandfather's brother, John Morris, ran away from home in Ireland when he was a teenager and made his way to the US. Once there, he was able to track down his aunts Mary and Catharine O'Connor (nee Morris). He stayed with them for 5 or 6 years before returning to Ireland where he settled in Keady, married and had a family.
My grandfather, William Morris and his brother John were both born in the Co Armagh workhouse. William was adopted out as a baby, as his mother, Rose, died not long after giving birth to him in 1903.
I'm having a lot of difficulty finding the history of this family, so would welcome any information or leads.
