Thanks for the reply. I will do some follow up with our Canadian cousins. An initial look gives at least one problem. I am sure that Ulrich Rieser had a brother William (Wilhelm?) who settled in Reading Pa. William was childless and left some of his property to his nephews who were the sons of Ulrich. I see three possibilities A: there were two Ulrichs who came over about 1750. B: There were five brothers. C: William's name could have been Johann William (and thus shown on the Canadian site as brother Johanns).
