Hiram Y. Reese

Looking for information on the parents of Hiram Y. Reese born 1786 in Pennsylvania and died 1879 in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Hiram was married three times and had 25 sons from 3 wives. A veteran of the war of 1812, Hiram also sent 9 sons to the civil war. Married the 1st time around 1810 he had 6 sons. The 2nd marriage was to Lydia Carr in Maryland which resulted in 11 sons. The 3rd marriage was to Anna Rebecca (unknown) around 1845 and they had 8 sons, mostly all born in Pennsylvania.

The key to this background probably is through the middle initial Y. which likely translates to Yarnall (Yarnell). Many Reese's had this initial and is not a Reese name and thus maybe came from an earlier Reese marriage to someone with that sir name. (Perhaps a grandparent in Caleb Reese and Hannah Yarnell early 1700's in Pennsylvania but who knows.)

The spelling of Reese is not important here as the name was spelled several different ways...Reese, Rees, Reece etc.

Looking for any clues that will determine Hiram's mother and father as well as any clues to his first marriage.
