David Rees' move from PA to VA (bet.1772-1775)
Posted by: Michael Nugent (ID *****7575) Date: January 18, 2009 at 21:27:00
  of 1456

Looking for info on the reason for the move and if it had anything to do with the American Revolution.

This David Rees was b.15Mar1730 in East Nottingham, Chester, PA (Note: OWT says E.N. was in Cecil county, MD), m. Martha Chandler in Chester, PA during 1756, d. 13Nov1812 in Berkeley, VA.

I have info on 6 children born to him in Chester, PA (the last of those was born in 1772), but I am descended from his daughter Hannah who was the 2nd of 3 children born in Frederick, VA between 1775 and 1781.

Thanks,
