I am seeking information on the parentage of Casper Miller and his wife, Hannah Rees/Reece/Reese.
Casper Miller was born in 1806 in Switzerland. Hannah Rees/Reece/Reese Miller was born in 1820 in either Ohio or Pennsylvania. They married before 1841 in Ohio.
They had the following children: William Miller, b. 1841; Catherine Miller, b. 1843; Stephen J. Miller, b. May 1847; Margaret Miller Keith, b. 27 Aug 1848; Sarah Emma Miller Keith, b. 11 Oct 1851; Wesley Leonard Miller, b. 31 Aug 1854; and George Miller, b. 1856.
Casper and Hannah Rees/Reece/Reese Miller are found in the 1850 census in Wayne Twp., Champaign Co., Ohio in 1850 and in West Liberty Twp., Logan Co., Ohio in 1860.
Casper and Hannah Rees/Reese/Reece Miller divorced in 1867.
Casper remarries to a woman named Elizabeth and dies in 1881 in Logan Co., OH. His will mentions living children Sarah Keith, Margaret Keith, Stephen J. Miller of Clark Co., OH and Wesley Leonard Miller. Casper Miller's will also mentions a Nicholas Glock of Hardin Co., Ohio and implies that Nicholas, b. 1827, was Casper's son out of wedlock. (The three other children of Casper and Hannah's, William, Catherine and George, are not mentioned and may have died before 1881).
Hannah Rees/Reece/Reese Miller is last found in the 1880 census in Bellefontaine, Logan Co., Ohio with son Wesley Leonard,my children's g-g-grandfather.
What happened to Hannah? When and where did she die? Who were her parents?
Sarah Emma Miller m. Walter Keith, b. 1847, and had the following children: Mary, Margaret, Minerva, Ada Ellen, Blanche, Samuel and Rovilla, all born in Logan and Champaign counties, Ohio.
Walter Keith's brother Henry Keith, b. 1843, m. Margaret Miller, b. 1848 and Sarah Emma's sister, in the same county. Henry and Margaret Miller Keith were childless.
Walter and Henry Keith seem to be the sons of Samuel Keith and his wife and Rachel (Baker?) of Auglaize Twp., Allen Co., Ohio. Samuel and Rachel are found there in the 1850 census. Next door are possible brothers of Samuel, John Keith and James Keith.
