As a hobby, I rescue old photos, documents and such items, if there is identification on them.
I acquired, from an auction, two photos and a memorial card. The subjects identified are, Lizzie McNamee Rees and her son Samuel. Lizzie is alone in the first picture, she's with Samuel in the second one, and he's a young boy, standing on a chair, next to her. The third item is a memorial card, for Samuel B. Rees, who died Sept. 27th, 1885, only living to 40 years. Census information indicate that Sam, the boy, was born in 1885, and his mother is shown to be a widow in the 1900 & 1910 census.
