Odd you mention that,
My father always told me that his family was Pennslyvania Dutch starting out. But, seeing how he didn't even know the real first name of his Paternal Grand Mother: Charlotte (O'Keefe) Reeder who was married to Lewis Reeder (I got that info from my Grandmother Isabel about 2 days before she died.) I didn't give it too much weight.
But now that you mention it, I wonder.
Also you have Edwin Parker Reeder as an Ancestor. My father and my grandfather both had Parker as their middle names.
Randolph Parker Reeder Sr. & Jr.
My relatives are now in Philadelphia and have been since at least the turn of the century. I do wonder at the "Parker"
connection as a middle name. It's not a very common one.
I know very little about my family (On my Dad's side anyway)
I got my mom's (Bennett) way back as well as my Paternal Grandmother (Dallas) But on Reeder, I got nothing. Accept Lewis & Charlotte and a vague refrence to Vaudeville for Lewis.
