Sorry Mary, wish I could help you, but according to someone who answered a post of mine, Andrew Reed and his relatives stayed in, or around Boothbay, Maine. My ancestors were in Greene Co, Pa., Barbour and Upshur Co, W.Va.
I have a John J.Reed, b. 1829, son of Alexander Reed and Martha Ann Reeder, m. Malinda Roberts.
I hope you have better luck at finding those elusive Reeds, than I have had at finding mine.
