I am a descendant of James Reed, b. 1787 of NJ and Catherine Stough b. 11 Dec. 1789 or 1791 of PA, m. 24 Dec. 1812. Catherine is the dau. of Jacob Frederick Stauch and Maria Catherine Feg. James and Catherine had 10 children, the 6th being Calvin A. Reed, my GG-Grandfather, b. abt. 1823 in Ravenna, Portage Co. OH.
