Hi Carol,
I'm researching the Reed name, and have Andrew, David, John, and Alexander as given names, among others. Mainly, I'm searching for Alexander Reed, b. 1806,(gggrandfather) in Greene Co.,Pa. Do you have any info about your Reed's migrating to Pa. and then to W.Va.
My grandfather was David Andrew Reed, b. 1870, married to Sarah Folks, then to Mary Daisy Bond, after Sarah died.
His father was David A. Reed, b. 1838, married Delana Limber, in 1858, then after she died, married Margaret Staggers in 1875.
I'm trying to get past Alexander Reed, so I may persue going further back.
If I should find anything in my searching, on your John, will let you know. In the meantime, can you tell me if you have any info we can connect. Anything will be most appreciated. Thank you, Dortha Doyle
