Looking for more info re John Reed, son of Andrew Reed, b. about 1731. Andrew em. from Antrim, Ireland to Boothbay, Maine area.
Greene's "History of Boothbay, Southport and Boothbay Harbor" is fairly silent about John indicating that he married Sarah _______ and settled in or near Indiantown Island, Maine. Children: Andrew, David (Greene shows this David Reed m. Jenny Reed but I wonder how this can be correct, since Jenny Reed is also shown as wife of David Reed, Jr., son of Andrew Reed, grandson of Andrew Reed from Ireland), Jean, Katherine. John Reed's will was probated June 14, 1769.
Can anyone fill in more details about this family?
