From the early newspaper "Centinel of the North-West Territory" for Saturday May 10 1794, this ad (repeated in other
weekly editions of the Centinel as well):
ALL persons having claims against the estate of the late Henry Reed, deceased, are requested to bring in their demands properly authenticated, and all those indebted to the said estate are hereby requested to call on Abner M. Dunn of Cincinnati, who is authorised to settle the same, at the same time the house and lot of the deceased in the Town and with claim to certain lands adjoining the said Town, will be sold at private sale, the said Dunn being authorised to receive propositions on that subject.
