I too am descended from James Reed through his first son Robert Reed. All I have for your Calvin, born about 1823 and died September 26, 1898, is that he married Narcissa Coe. They were on the Hale Twp., Jones County, Iowa Census
for 1854. James and Catharine Stough Reed are buried in Olin Cemetery, Olin, Jones County, Iowa. James died September 29, 1863 and Catharine September 22, 1874. James is the furthest Reed family member that I have been able to trace. Also I have not found any written information on Catharine's parents other than what has been enrtered by other geneaologists. I don't want to error. I have nothing on line as yet. Julienne Hammill
