I'm doing some research for my aunt who is wanting to find information on her father's family. The only information she has on him is his name,Charles James Reece. Supposedly born in Arkansas about 1881. He died in 1942 and is buried in Rosehill Cemetery in Tulsa, OK. My aunt is the one who gave information to the cemetery and funeral home.
She thinks he may have had a half sister,Pearl Reece.
She married a politician and moved to OK. City.
Charles was married to,Iva Lee/Lou Coburn/Rice. His mother was Nellie Thompson. She was enumerated with him in the 1930 for Ponca City,Kay,OK. Known children:
Vernon,b.1924,OK. Clara Marie b.,1925,Ponca City,OK.
Charles and Nellie are of Cherokee blood. I've checked all the indian rolls,and have not found anything so far.
Sure would appreciate any information.
