Jamie, Sorry I did not notice the remarks you made at the end of your post..understand one thing. I agree that there is too much Junk Genealogy, meaning false genealogy posted on line. I know this because this is not the first time I have found posts containing certain information from my book and distorted. If you feel frustrated after reading something on line which contains information from my book but incorrectly added to or changed etc. I am not surprized but I am also probably even more frustrated. The book is copyrighted and each time you see it without my approval having been given for the information I am definately upset. I would not be upset if those who post information from my book will first explain to me what they are writing and assure me they will properly provide the source not only to give credit where credit is due but so I can make a better decision whether to give them permission or not. So far there have been only a couple of persons who I gave permission to post the data from the book. I am seeing content of my book show up in some public trees on line and sometimes in other places. When I see these I try to let the person know that they should have got permission before posting. My advice is anything you see on line try to find the original source or at least the poster's source before you take it as 100 percent true. I have been doing genealogy almost 40 years which comes from three different languages, German, French and American English. John V. Reeb
