REEB REUNION PHOTOS

I am seeking any help from persons who may be qualified to assist in the identification of family members who appear in group or other photos taken at four different family reunions.

The oldest photo involved is from a Paulding County, Ohio reunion held in the eary l900s. The REEB families who settled in Paulding County were families of two brothers Heinrich (Henry) and Jost (Joseph) REEB who came from Keskastel, Bas-Rhin, France in the 1840s. So far, two very helpful descendants of those two brothers have identified some of their own closer kin but we have many more who we need help with. So if anyone is a descendant of the REEB family of Paulding County who may be able to help in some way be assured that I welcome hearing from you.

Two Reunions were held 1985 and 1987 in Union County, North Carolina which were attended by descendants Johann Peter REEB (RAPE), his brother Gustavus REEB (Reap) and also by descendants of Theobald REEB who settled in Butler County, PA from Keskastel in 1803. Theobald's descendants have carried both names REEB and RAPE. A third REEB-RAPE reunion was conducted in Quitman, Texas in July 1989. This reunion had a larger attendance than any of the others.

I need help in identifying persons on all these photos. If anyone who reads this either attended any of these reunions or may be able to recognize anyone who did attend I would love to hear from you. Thanks much.

John V. Reeb
