George Reeb & Margaret Case of Paulding Co. OH

Paulding County Ohio Early Marriage Records list a marriage between George REEB and Margaret CASE dated 28 March 1855. The only George REEB who this could have pertained to would have been Georg Reeb, son of Johann Heinrich REEB and his wife, Catharina Rothan, who arrived in New York on the passenger ship "ARGO" on 22 October 1847. This Georg REEB was born 20 August 1831 in Keskastel, Bas-Rhin, France and baptized on the 23rd of the same month. Although the church and civil records do not reflect so, I am certain his full name was George Theobald (has many variations in spelling such as Diebold, Thiebold, Thiebalt etc. note: that the letters t and d often used interchangable in German). He was listed as Dieboldt REEB on the passenger manifest of the ARGO in 1847 as a child of Heinrich REEB. In my searches of census records after the marriage in 1855 of George REEB and Margaret CASE I have been unable to find him in any census wherein there is solid proof that it was him being listed. The closest I have found so far is a George Reeb listed in 1900 Census of Grant County, New Mexico whose birth was listed as born April 1836 in Germany. While confliction exists in the ages of these two listed George Reebs, this George Reeb in New Mexico census is shown to have immigrated in 1847 the same year as Georg Reeb whose family settled in Paulding County. However, if this is the same person, George was not with his first wife, Margaret Case, but with Clara Danforth.
