Thomas H. Collins Is Dead at Age 75 Yrs.; Was Well-Known Citizen
Death Came Thursday, May 22, At Home Of His Daughter, Mrs.
Potter, Of Kimball.
Thomas H. Collins, aged 75 years, a well-known resident of this community, died Thursday, May 22,, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Potter of Kimball.
He was buried the following Friday, funeral services being conducted at the grave by Rev. Billingsley of the Baptist Church, Jasper, and interment being in the Glover hill cemetery. A large number of friends and relatives attended the obsequies.
Deceased is survived by a brother, Sam Collins, of Sweeten’s cove; a son, Sam Collins, Jr., and a daughter, Mrs. Potter, of Kimball; and by a wide circle of friends with whom the Hustler joins in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.
