1999 - GA, Debra Gates, 3959 S. Apple Valley Rd., Commerce, GA 30529 sent me the picture of Elizabeth Ann Redwine and James S. Daniels. Debra says the picture is from a CD in the AR, Searcy Co., Library.

Sorry I haven't been doing this long enough to get organized and have a GEDCOM registered yet. Elizabeth Redwine was married to my great grandfather, James Simpson Daniel. One of their eight children was the famous Pink Daniel who is in many of the folklore books of the area. He was an extreme excentric. Hair past his waist and a big coon hunter, drinker, story teller. His brother, Samuel L. born about 1858 was married to Melissa Elliott of Dongola, AR. They lived in Searcy County, AR and had eight children one of which was my grandmother, Aurelia "Sis". She married Edgar Rowlett and my father Roy is one of their three sons..Rufus and Ben F. the other two. Not my family just a paper I found. William Pope REDWINE and wife Paralee America HATCHETT parents of Martha Francis born 17 July 1876 Leslie, Searcy Co., ARK- died 15 July 1948 buried Old Leslie Cem. Leslie, Searcy Co., ARK. She married a Mr. WHITLOCK. Her parents are believed to be buried side-by-side in the same cemetery.
