Most if not all of the below are children of James and Sarah (Chaffin/Chalfant) Redus from Md/Pa to Grayson County, Va ca 1794. I have used my own "short-hand". E-mail me for fuller info on any of these families.
five of these went to Washington County, Indiana before 1820 and appeared on the 1820 census there. They traveled with a related Quaker family from Grayson named Durnil/Durnell.
AARON born 1786 Pa, m. Laura Oglesby, In Monroe County, Ms. 1830, Ala. earlier.
WILLIAM PENN b. 1774, m. Rebecca Hodges,lived and died Limestone Co, Ala. New Gasrden cemetery.
THOMAS b. 1776, have more but cannot locate right now. Lived Ala.
JAMES b. 1790, m. Susan Morgan, 1840/50 Marion Co, Ala
JOEL b. 1791 d. 1841, m. Catherine English. Still in Wash, Ind. 1840.
JOHN b. 1795 m. Lyman and Hulda Wright,died Iola, Allen County, Ks.
SAMUEL b. 1798 Va, m. Martha Hutton, Copiah Co. , Ns 1850.
