Just a note to let all my Redus Kinfolk's know my new email address. It was change from ca11812@aol.com to ca11812@juno.com. I got fed up with AOL knocking me off line all the time, and change ISP's.
I am still very much active in Redus and Allied Families Research. Todate, no one has been able to go beyond James Redus who married Catherine Parsons, daughter of William and Mary Parsons of Cecil County, Maryland. I believe it is this James and Catherine (Parsons) Redus who was alluted to in Mrs. Ellington's 1902 letter, who return to England to claim the property belonging to Catherine's Father and Grandfather, Jon Parker.
Unfortunately, there is no evidences to support Mrs. Ellington's claim that they return to England to claim property that was confiscated by the Crown. A very romantic letter indeed, which rivals the best of the bard, but there hasn't been a shread of evidence to prove or disprove the theory they were actually lost at sea! So we descendants, who number in the thousands, continue to press on for the truth of the mystery.
