My dad has been to Orange County. He has become very interested again since we started to find more information, and he finally got a new computor. With some help from a friend he found the grave of Daniel Redner b 1796, and John Redner b 1803. You may remeber it was James Redner we have been researching. We have concluded that James, John, Daniel, and Peter Redner are brothers. We also found in burial records that John Redner's mother is Catherine Redner.

The family so far has all been born in NY and not Ireland.
Your family in Orange and mine are not very far apart. I wonder if James Redner's father is your John Redner's brother or cousin.

I don't find any Redners in Orange, Monroe until the 1825 census. Then we find James, John, and Daniel.

How far is Montgomery, Orange, from Monroe? Have you found anything on your John Redner's parents. I do believe that I will find we are related to the Reddenhauser line, but I would like to find the connection.

Daniel's decendant thought the family came up to monroe around 1800 from NY city. I have not been able to find any Redners in the 1800 or 1790 census from there.

I hope I am not bothering you with this. You have already done so much work on this line. Are you still interested in working on it?
