These coincidences are interesting.Isaac Redman's second wife Cynthia Ellen Wilson was born in Greene Co. PA.She had three sisters who married Adams.Malinda Wilson married William H. Adams, son of Archibald Adams who died in the Civil War.Nancy Wilson was married in Greene Co. PA to Denton ADAMS of Muskingum Co. OH. They were married at her father Jacob L. Wilson's home. Children were Arabella b 1853 and Laura Marie/Maria b 1861.Residence in 1864 was Frazeysburg, Muskingum Co., OH. It is believed that Laura was the wife of Abraham STAHL living next to Nancy in 1880.A statement in Nancy Wilson Adams' pension file from State of Ohio Muskingum CountyOn 5 Aug 1865 by Nancy Adams was witnessed by Laura M. Wilson and William P. Wilsonresidents of said Muskingum County That their knowledge of the identity of her husband with the soldier is derived from (1) being a niece and nephew Laura M being a nice [sic] of Denton Adams, and William P Wilson being a nephew of said Nancy Adams.Laura M's mother being a sister to Denton Adams, and William P's father being a brother toNancy's mother.I rather think they meant Nancy's father Jacob Wilson because Nancy's mother was Mary Cole. This must be the same William P. Wilson of Mt. Grove, Wright Co. who signed an affidavit supporting Cynthia Wilson's application for a pension as the widon of Isaac Redman.Cynthia and Isaac had been living at Dawson, Wright Co. MO.They had also lived for a while in Muskingum Co. OH.
