I am interested in finding the parents of Grace Brewster Jenkins who married Jacob Hartzler Redhead. In the 1900 Census, I found her living with her brother R.D. Taylor;she is 19 and at school. Her nephew, Harmon Robert or Robert Harmon is there also and he is 3. If she is living with her brother, it seems to me her last name should be Taylor and not Jenkins, unless she married and divorced before she
married Jacob Hartzler Redhead. ANY information would be greatly appreciated. I would love to see a copy of that book written about the Taylors by Harmon Robert Taylor in the 60's and learn more about this family. It is NOT my family;I am only doing the research for someone whose x-wife's mother is the daughter of Jacob and Grace Brewster Jenkins Redhead. They had three children. Mary, RUTH, and William.(Where did her Brewster name come from?)
Pointing me in the right direction here would be greatly appreciated. My goal is having this project finished by Thanksgiving for a Christmas present to great grandchildren.
