Sandra:

I wonder if your Henry REDHEAD is part of my Dad's REDHEAD line? Charles Wesley REDHEAD was a very, very prominent person in Des Moines, IA. I had found a couple of biographies on him and very little on his ancestors.

MY theory is:

Charles Wesley and his family vacationed a lot in WI [and on few occasions, MN]. My Dad's mother is a REDHEAD. She had saved letters and there were many indicating "WI".

When very, very young, he ran away from home and traveled to NY [A L O N E]. I don't know how he got there, but there was information that he ran away to NY!

Also, he stopped in OH.

I have [one of] the emigrant that came over. He was born in England and came through CN. In 1831, when there was a horrible cholera epidemic in CN, both parents died within a week of each other.

MY question is....is your Henry brothers to my Nicholas REDHEAD? OR is Henry a son of Nicholas?

I would be more than happy to send you an Email on the biographies I found and the lineage of Nicholas REDHEAD that I have on file.

NOTE: Some of the REDHEAD families do not like each other due to the fact that they were wealthy in Des Moines and there has been quite a bit of "spats". Therefore, many will not share information! I know, it's a BUMMER!
