Redhead's from East Butterwick, Lincs;
My ancestors so far are;
Albert Redhead, Grandad, born April 1925.
John Albert Redhead, born Snaith in 1888, married Clara Mitchell in Wakefield.
John William Redhead/ Readhead, from east Butterwick; born 1864, married Ann Eliza Brown in Sheffield area.
His parents; William Readhead & Sarah Ross, of Lincs.Sarah Died and william re-married a couple of times.
I am hoping to get further back from this point.
My ancestors were landowners and had a farm at East Butterwick, which still stands and is called Holly Farm or Holly House.
I know that a lot of the ancestors went to Canada, the US and Australia.
