Mining Redheads from Oakenshaw,Willington,Co.Durham

My Redhead family is from the Oakenshaw and Willington area of Co.Durham and end up in south Shields.I have David Redhead(1831) and his wife Jane(1835) and seven children.John M.(1855)David(1863)William(1864)Robert H. (1868)Nathaniel(1870)Elizabeth A.(1875)and Margaret(1877)
William Redhead was apparently married twice-firstly around 1885 and again in 1901 in Durham to a widow Jane Birchall. By his first wife he had at least five children-David(1887) Alice I.(1890)Isabel(1892)Sarah(1893)and William(1895)
Alice I. then later married a Joseph Phillips in about 1909 and settled in South Shields and had seven children one of whom was my wifes mother-Abigail Elliot Redhead Phillips.
