Sorry, doesn't ring any bells. My understanding is that the Redheads were pretty well established in Northumberland. I get the impression my John was quite notable from the way he was referred to, but am drawing a complete blank. Will keep an eye out for the names you mentioned and you never know!

Thanks for making contact. Sometimes a piece of information slots into place months even years afterwards! Perhaps if we both manage top take our back they will click. Have you any idea where Redhead comes from? I sort of assumed it was someone who was red haired - possibly a Scot?
